• PYJAMA TRENDS?

Are we going mad, yes there it is adverts saying that pyjamas are TRENDY for 2012,

well there's nothing more comfy than your PJ's....................but wait girls please don't go donning those five-year-old cotton pyjamas.

Instead go for swanky satin trousers, match highly patterned trousers and button-down tops and look out for shorts with lace embellishments.

Wear your slinky shorts with a slouchy t-shirt and ankle boots for a cool everyday look.

To add a bit of structure, slip on a biker jacket or blazer.

    Here are a few examples

Be inspired from Stella McCartney (well she's made our PJ's cool) and choose from one of her Paisley prints. or why not try smaller patterns, although bigger, bolder prints can look good, too

  • Mehndi the new fashion craze

Now a little birdie told me that the latest fashion craze is good old Mehndi.

Mehndi (Hindi: मेहँदी) is an important part of Hindu customs, awakening the "inner light" and so the gold of the inner Sun has an important symbolic function!

Traditional mehndi designs draw the sun on the palm, which in this context represents the mind.

Mehndi decorations became fashionable in the West in the late 1990s, where they were called henna tattoos.

Mehndi is usually applied during special occasions like weddings and Hindu festivals such as Diwali ………I remember Diwali being celebrated in Trinidad 2006 where everyone got together Muslims & Hindu's alike. Diwali is an important festival celebrated by families to signify the triumph of good over evil.

In some Hindu festivals, every woman tries to have Henna done on her hands and feet.
